Battery draw test help
Hello all! It's been a bit since I've been here and I'm looking for some tech help.
I need to do the battery draw test because I have drain on the battery. I'm looking for the correct way to do this on our cars taking into account the GEM module powering up and how to work around that and work around having the door open while pulling fuses.
My thought is to pull the dome light fuse and then leave the door open while waiting the hour or so for the GEM module to power back down.

Thoughts?

best way is to pull the negative post off hook multimeter between the negative cable and negative post on battery, set to multimeter to 10 amp for test, as far as the dome lights ,tape down the driver door switch that operates the dome light or use a set of clamps
