Default Ticking from the passenger side head by the firewall.

I cant pin point what this tick is. It doesnt tick when you first start it up. But soon as I pull out on the road it does it constantly even at a idle. What all would tick like that in that area. I know its not injectors or plugs or exhaust leak. Someone said my bearing on the back of the cam wore out maybe and if that happened i would have to replace the head. Its not knocking just ticking. Been doing that for 3 months now. I dont lose any power at all. Please tell me this will be somethen easy to fix. Autozone told me to put seafoam in it but I havent yet till I hear someone else with this problem. Or someone who knows what there talking about.

The guy at autozone is saying that because he is either an idiot trying to sell a product, or thinking you have a lifter ticking, which other Mustang owners say seafoam helps with this, and is trying to sell you something.

I posted in your other thread... It may be a lash adjuster, which is what the rocker sits on (the Ford SOHC and DOHC have these, not lifters).

FWIW, make sure your plugs are tight, I had a ticking noise on my car and it ended being a loose plug and finally it blew out of the head. Can't hurt to check.
