whats the rest of the motor look like? MAF, injectors, etc?
I pulled the fuel rails off and fuel was under pressure and sprayed out of the rails so its at least getting to the injectors. The injectors are the original yellow top, they were functioning when I took them off the 4.6 but they have been sitting. I have new 42lb injectors, but I was waiting until I got the hardballer intake to use those. The MAF is stock from the 4.6 its the same CAI .I am using the 4.6 coil packs are these different then the 5.4 coil packs. could that be an issue? The engine was supposedly tested before I got it so going on their word it should run with no problems.

Your obviously getting spark because it wants to start with the starting fluid. And if the fuel rail is pressurized that leads to something is not telling the injectors to fire. Are the cam and crank sensors plugged in?

I went through a disconnected and reconnect all the wiring harness and now the car is starting but it will only stay running when I give it fuel, and it don't sound to good. I will post a video of this.

Kept having to give it lots of fuel to keep it running just that little bit.

Do you have a tune in your computer?
Hows the plugs look?

Plug a plug and see how it looks..That may give you some idea what going on.
See if they look wet or leaned out.

Like to see this thing running where you got this far

I have brand new plugs in it. the coil packs dont look so great but they were working before. and its just the stock 4.6l tune. Could it be just as simple as getting it tuned for it to run cause I planned on getting the tune, but I at least wanted to make sure it was running first.

doesnt really make any sense... it should run absolutely fine with the stock tune installed, 4.6/5.4 are all the same, ones just bigger than the other, it should start/idle/everything just like a stock car.

where did you get the motor from?

did you install cams? anything else?

somethings deff rotten in Denmark here...
