I like my K&N FIPK -- I hope to dyno next month to see any differences. The car definitely has more throttle response -- whether that corresponds to horsepower I can't say.
The Densecharger is also a good unit, but I wanted to be able to remove & clean the filter without going into the fender.

By the way, Ebay can be a good source for these. I saved almost $50 on my (new, sealed in box) FIPK compared to what I'd have paid from a dealer or online store.

I've got an AFM Power pipe and my air filter hangs down so far it would definetely suck water in because there is a hole in the plastic in the wheel well. I am going to cover the hole and get an elbow or some thing to bring it away from the wheel well. It hangs down so far that it actually distorts the bumper cover at the bottom.

I was going to buy a CAI before I bought my blower but I knew it would just go to waiste when I got one. I would just leave the stock one anyway and put a K&N on. The stock intake is pretty damn good if you ask me.

DO NOT DRIVE INTO BIG PUDDLES WITH CAI !!! But you know when its raining out every CAI is fine its just big puddles that would cover the entire CAI would mess up you car big time.

Yes - you'll be fine. Now if you were to drive in/through deep puddles, you might have some issues.
