Default RPM question on Mustang GT

On a stock mustang 2003 GT what rpm range do I get my best performance at before I have to shift from first to 2nd and from there to 3rd? Does a supercharger change this or not? Is it all about the engine not your mods? Thanks

You want to shift between peak torque and peak HP, closer to the peak HP in the lower gears. For a stock '03 GT that would be 5000 to 5250 RPM or so...

I can't afford dyno charts have 3 kids and pay for daycare so what I pay for daycare could buy a brand new car hopefully a hotrod but anyways my question wasn't meant to be complicated just need to know what a stock mustang gt 2003 performs best at on its rpms when do I need to shift? I have a shift light need to set but I do have a supercharger on the car but I'm sure the rpm's you all throw out to me for a stock 2003 GT is not gonna change a whole lot with a supercharger so please give me your numbers. Lets pretend car came off assembly line this morning. THANX

Can you not tell by doing test runs? It's hard to know when your making full boost, it wouldnt be the same as a stock naturally aspirated GT. Consider a dynochart if you want it deadly accurate.

Having "been there and done that" in my life I understand, but to be frank if you cannot afford $70 for 2 or 3 dyno pulls now and then, then you cannot possibly afford 1/10th of the stuff you have been asking about for the last several months--I.e. you cannot afford a supercharged Mustang.

Sell it, buy a nice used Corolla (I drove an '85 for many years, the last year for RWD, when I had kids in college)--and take care of those kids as priority #1...

My Paxton 2000 will make HP til the cows come home. on my Dyno graph there is NO dropoff, even at 6100 rpm. I am still building power until I hit the rev limiter... If I was stupid enough to go bangin' said limiter.
