Car won't start.. bad tumbler?

Default Car won't start.. bad tumbler?

So I went to start my car yesterday and basically it went to accesory and then the whole ignition thing went loose, I think my tumbler went but im not sure

I agree (except that there is more than one "tumbler"), call a locksmith.

One other thing, FWIW, the number of keys on your ring is getting close to the number that can cause ignition key mechanism problems--it doesn't always mean trouble but more often than not those that have ignition lock problems on older can also have loaded up key rings.

I carry just the ignition key, the remote, and a "fob" on mine...

I will keep that in mind..but i took the tumbler mechanism out, it was fine, the rod in the steering column is messed up, so im having it towed to my mechanic tmr. I don't wanna take apart the whole steering column
