Thanks for the replies. Let me give a little more info - This is a car driven very low miles - 3000 a year maybe. A lot of short trips, some of these trips 2-3 miles - car doesn't even get to full operating temp. I know, not the best thing, but that's just my normal commute. I know, I should intentionally take a longer route every now and then. I do change the oil every 6 months without fail. Been using conventional. I've thrown around the idea that I might have some buildup somewhere causing this tick. Thought about the whole seafoam ide and all..not sure I wanna do that. I think I might try a heavy does of fuel system cleaner and maybe go throw some synthetic motor oil in it and give it some nice hard runs to see if that helps clean things out.

Verdict - a loose spark plug. Guess I need to go back and make sure the rest of them are tightened.
