Default New to the fraternity, subframe and springs

Hi everyone. I'm new to Mustangs. I recently purchased a 2001 Convert GT as a new toy to play with. After years of playing with higher line sports car I decided to get a toy with good old V8 power. I love the sound and torque and it makes driving fun. I have a couple of questions. Ragtop SN95 has factory subframe connectors and I was wondering should more be done to stiffen it uo. Possibly weld the factory connectors, go with some type of aftermarket connectors, or use some type of strut towers. Next question is that I want to lower it some and was wondering if the Eibach speciffically designed for convertables are any good? Thanks for any advice

best subframes for the money, hands down, are Maximum Motorsport full length subframes... they are weld in. not sure about the specific application for verts.

how much of a drop are you looking for? the absolute bottomed out drop would probably be H&R supersports. you have to really let us know what you want, is it a dailey driver? weekend toy? can you deal with a harsh ride? are you looking for maximum handling?
