2002 GT

I have had the car about 2 weeks now.
I just got it back from the shop having the intake manifold replaced, and noticed a few things that look off to me..

First there is an open hole in the intake pipe right after the MAF sensor shown in first pic.

What goes there??

Next, I feel like it is lacking some clamps, but never paid attention before the work was done so maybe I'm just paranoid? In the second pic, let me know if it is lacking any clamps in your opinion..

Its hard to tell where the first pic is located ,but I know there is an intake air temp sensor somewhere in there.

Neither of my idle air bypass hoses have clamps either.

hey guys i don't really know how to make a forum, but i'll ask here anyway. well,to start off i have a mustang v6 mustang 2002 automatic(yea i know ]= ) okay here's the problem i want to ask you guys. Is it bad starting with 1st gear then going to 2nd gear? because i sometimes race people i want my RPM to go up. so i wait to 4000rpm then switch to 2nd gear then switch to drive then put it to overdrive. Then somehow after that today i smelled something burning. smells like rubber coming out from the a/c or coming out somewhere at the middle of the gear box. please if you have an answer please respond asap. thank you.

I would think that is where the hose from the valve cover vent would attach. Having that open you would be sucking in unmetered air. Clamps are no big deal just go out and buy some in the proper size.

the CAI might be one that fits both GT and V6, the V6 has one more hose then the GT if im not mistaken, cant remember what for but a rubber plug should fit nice, even tape it off with eletrical tape

That hole is for the IAC sensor.
There should a rubber seal there then IAC side into that hole and also there is a plug the connect to it.

You must have a CEL on for sure with a lean code where that is after the MAF ( unmetered air)

Here is a picture showing the IAC in CAI

I think Repzard might mean IAT, not IAC....
