2004 Mustang quit running
My wife was driving her 04 GT when it sputtered and died. I hooked up a scaner and checked on codes.No codes. Then I checked rail pressure 6 psi and I could not hear the fuel pump. Changed the fuel filter still nothing. Ran a self check it showed B 1353 code for ignition switch. I came home today to start to check and now I have code P1000. What is this code?

P1000 means the I/M (Inspection/Maintenance) Readiness monitor tests have not been completed. This most often occurs when the battery has been disconnected for more than 10 minutes, or if the PCM has been reset.
Read more about P1000 here;
And more about the I/M drive cycles needed to reset P1000 here;
I would recommend that you have the battery load tested. A shorted or dying cell, causing the voltage to drop below 10.5V while cranking, can cause what you have observed.
