You have to remove off the top of my head
Drain antifreeze, remove Alt and bracket,Plenum and TB together,COPS,Fuelrail out of way removing Fuel injectors, then all hose connected to intake and bolts, clean sufaces and reverse process to install.

Its a very easy job really if you can work on cars
Heres a pretty good how to from our vendor for basics

My buddy and i removed his intake from his 2000GT bc his intake cracked... It was so straightforward. We aren't the most mechanically inclined, but it was pretty damn easy... If you have basic knowledge and hand tools, you can do it...

New intake is what like $179? Coulda been worse

Ok, so I just pulled my intake manifold from my '04 GT W/4.6L and it's cracked below the thermostat housing.
I need to replace, but with what, another plastic one? Or is there better alternatives?

Get the FRPP intake manifold, it is the same price or less than the aftermarket (FLAPS) manifolds, and twice as good.

BTW, they all let go, not just the all-plastic units. My '03 started losing coolant from the crossover to manifold juncture, just below the thermostat, at 118k miles...

Absolutely! My J-B Weld fix will never let go now that I have that in my attic!

Also OP, I will 110% vouch for GT04, and his father who is a man of integrity-- which I suspect is where GT' got it from. The manifold I received was like new...

They were pulled from my project vehicles with really low miles, one for a rr intake the other for the kb, both came off 04's
