I got my built trans and stall installed today thanks dirty dog performance!!!!!!!!!!
I had alan@dirtydog build and install my built (600hp) 4r70w trans & 10" 3800 stall with billet cover today. I must say the car feels like a totally different car especially at WOT from a dig pulls HAARRDD imo, now from a roll ehhh!! not to impressed. Anyway everything is good just got some ?'s cause I feel like I may be panicing over nothing so help me out guys. It feels like the rpm's dont know where they wanna go through city type driving highway its fine cant even tell its stalled, and each shift/downshift into the next gear is engaged very firm to the point like a clunk/hard type feeling is that hurting anything? I called alan he said this is normal is it? if so why is it so aggressive during shift/downshifts and my shift pressure on my tuner is not turned up either?

It's a built trans and made for performance. Not for the "comfort" that the stock trans was engineered with. To get the crisp and fast shifts, it eliminates the slipping etc, and just drops into gear. Sounds pretty normal man.

well alan suggested a new wheel speed sensor cause the rpms just dont know where they wanna go type thing and a retune for lockup. He also said to check my tune cause it seems my calibration for my 3.73's is messed up? I hope bama can fix that cause my speedo is right right now not sure they can do much else?
