My oil pressure starts out at about 50-55 psi (or on the R on normal) when cold. After it warms up a little, (about 30 min). it drops to about 25-30 psi (about on the n). It usually doesn't usually go below that. My motor seems to smoke some white smoke occasionally, but perhaps that's from bad valve seats.. I would just really like to work out all of the kinks. Thanks.

How long has it been since oil has been changed. I know its a different vehicle but when my Silverado oil is due for a change the oil pressure drops to about where you say. Just a thought.

sounds pretty normal on oil pressure when it warms up. according to my autometer gauge its reads 75-80 at start up and goes to about 30 when up to temp at idle.

Ya, seems fine to me, mine is down around ~20psi at idle warmed up.

mine does the same thing; even after a fresh oil change. i changed the oil pressure switch and it still does it.
