try to find a regular curved/u type hose I think is like 10mm and use the regular type clamps to clamp each end off.

Yeah, I had my heater core bypassed for awhile and a few weeks ago i replaced it. Took me about 10 hours... I can definitively do it faster than that after doing it once. It wasn't fun at all but it was a good excuse to drink some bears out in the garage.
