I've heard dirty ABS sensors(some wording like that) can cause this problem. Could try cleaning them with something? Just a thought.

the abs sensor line getting accidentally tugged can make the car throw the code also. Unhook the battery for 5 min. and see if the computer resets itself. If not and there's no faulty brake issues you can just clear the code with your tuner.

"i noticed my abs light was on, its not on all the time but it is on"--this is confusing--under what conditions is the warning light on?

Do the front and rear tires all have the same outside diameter?

No i just put 295/55/15s on the rear and went with a 26 front runners in the front.. I added pics so you all can see the car with the new wheels and tires. But i dont know how to post them in a thread.. Also when my battery died and i put in a new battery did i lose my tune? i dont think it is possible but i have to ask.lol

The car stops fine, i dont think i have a problem. the only things i did wile it was sitting was paint the inner fender wells, put new rims on it and tires, and a new battery. So im lost.

The dead battery would not affect the tune, the different sized tires will screw with the ABS...

Is their a way to correct this? Or can i just turn the abs light off with my tuner? And if i do turn off the abs light , will i still have abs? thanks

Maybe you got some overspay on the ABS sensors or ABS rings.

My guess after you stated you painted wheel wells effecting ABS light now to come on.
try cleaning sensor and rings, not sure what you can use to clean them.

Maybe CliffyK can answer that
