96 coil pack on 2001 motor

Default 96 coil pack on 2001 motor

i have a 1996 gt and i have rebuilt a 2001 motor. when i started the question of my car having coil packs and the 2001 mustangs do not was in the back of my head but know its time to deal with this problem i was looking at mine vs the 01 timing cover it does not look like i will be able to bolt my coil packs onto this motor does anybody know any tricks to get around this

You could switch out the timing cover or make your own bracket to make other mounting points work.

I am thinking of putting my coil packs at the rear of the motor when I do my swap.

Yeah I was looking at it and it looks like I can re use my 96 cover which will make things ten times easier
