Lakewood shocks/struts question

Alright so this winter I have set out to put together a suspension setup on my 01 GT thats going to hopefully hook up great and really shock some people. I know suspension is pretty much the key to drag racing since if you cant hook it it doesnt matter how much power you make.

Ive been reading into the lakewood 90/10 struts and 50/50 shocks, and for a drag racing setup these appear to be the best non-adjustable ones you can get.

My question is does anyone have experience running these? Did they help out at the track, and what I'd like to know most is how tame are they on the street? They dont make the car ride like a school bus do they?

90/10s mean u gotta be careful onthe street. 70/30 front struts are more streetable.
