Default anyone here make their own homedepot 03/04 cobra chin spoiler?

locally, people want $300 for a chin spoiler, and I am not about to pay that. shipping from the US to canada also kills any online deals.

Has anyone here made their own chin spoiler for the 03/04 cobra bumper? People with other models of car use the Home Depot Garage door seal:

Hopefully I don't get flamed too badly for being cheap, etc etc.

I did this mod with my V6/GT bumper, I like the look of it personally.

ive seen this done on a few srt4's. youd never really be able to tell the difference unless someone is really nitpicking your car. go for it! talk about a cheap alternative to a chin spoiler that works awesome!

LOL
I wouldn't have guessed that either.
In fact, I bought and modified a MACH1 chin spoiler to go on my ZX3 Focus many years ago because I liked the MACH1 piece. Would have probably been easier, and certainly cheaper to do the Home Depot mod.

GO FOR IT!!!

What is it? foam rubber? Seems like it would flop around in the wind while you're moving.

Ive had mine on for over a year and nothing has happened to it. got a little too close to the curb a couple times, just scuff marks on it that come off when you wash the car. doesnt kink but it doesnt bend.

I just used 3M double sided tape and good prep work before hand.
