Default gauge glue

I installed a set of EL Glow gauge overlays in my car. In the morning, before it gets hot out, they distort a little. Because of that, the needle for the speedo rubs and usually stops at 43mph. But it is very inaccurate before that tho, it jumps in 7-8mph incriments. I need some kind of glue to hold them down, but I am afraid that anything I use will stain through the white gauges, and I think it might show at night through the blue. Any suggestions?

how far did you push the needles down? they can easily be pushed to far and rub the gauges.. you shouldnt need any kind of glue for them and i wouldnt recommend that you use any imo.

yea i hate same problem bro. EL Gauges suck they dont work. Half of my gauges dont work oil, battery, fuel im just going to buy a whole new gauge cluster with pre-calibrated gauges. Like 01GTType said you cant push the needles flush against the gauges old gauges + new gauges = 2 thick for needle.

I had the same problem with the needles sticking also. Just pull the needles back a little bit and you should be fine. DONT USE GLUE. Also, overlays suck period. the lighting doesnt seem to come through like the stock overlay thats probably why their so cheap. Save your money and get the auto meter cluster its a little costly but youll be happy with it.
