HELP QUICK! Vortech purchase question!!
Was looking on craigslist for supercharger, anyways this guy has a "V-2 Vortech supercharger" says it has mounting hardware for 2007 mustang gt, could i just buy the unit and buy mounting gear for my 2000 mustang gt? how much should i try to get it for? he's asking 850.

Any input appreciated/how much would new mounting equipment run me?

yeah alot of people just buy the head unit then piece together the rest of the kit, its more of a headache but sometimes you can gather everything up cheaper than buying the whole kit.

make sure that its counter clockwise rotation with a straight discharge. if not it wont work

Ok i got the counter-clockwise thing, but what does straight discharge mean? and how should i check it? and are there any red-flags i should be looking for as far as damage etc? |

2007 gt will have the straight discharge.

$850 isn't to bad. You could sell all the parts you don't need to buy the ones you do. Check for shaft play, damaged impeller stuff like that.
