How do I hit 600rwhp?
#11
For some reason I would think more would be left in your blower if you're hitting 516/473
a member on another forum was able to squeeze over 600rwhp from a v1 s trim with hp292 cams members name is Jivepepper also another member with a v2 aftercooled hit 517/456 at 11psi with a 3.33 pulley with mhs1 blower cams on a stock shortblock member Bullitt5566 http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...ned-today.html i dont know how but I think you should be able to get more out of that blower looking at some of the numbers some have put down with the v1 and v2 on other forums.

But I agree...not sure what is up but it is weird that the car stops making power at 6k...maybe with the heads and cams the blower really isnt moving enough air?
Idk.

Money, time and broken parts.
Boost and fuel are the easy answers I tell everyone who wants to achieve a number. I would upgrade to a T trim, YSI or better and go with duel BPV's set different pressures. The Si is a great all around blower but you're looking for raw power and only way that is going to happen is with big air up top. With that kind boost though you may want some type of after cooler but I don't know much about those.
Autos play hell games with dynos so if it's just a number you want, use photoshop or shoot for 800rw and you'll hit 600rw. ..or you could just switch out to a built T56. You probably hit 600rw a half dozen mods ago, lol.
The short block doesn't play into it at all really.

Well, my goal with the car has always been to hit 600rwhp. I am currently at 516/463 but thats without spraying the meth yet. My tuner doesnt think I'll pick up too much power by adding meth though because my IAT's are not high at all and I'm already intercooled. So even If i'm in the 540rwhp range after meth...I just want to see what you guys think I can do to hit 600rwhp. Real quick rundown is listed below:
97 GT block .20 over
Manley 18cc pistons
Manley H beam rods
Cobra crank
All arp stupds
MMR stage 3 pi heads
Custom grind blower cams (533/571, 220/230 duration, 114lsa)
Port matched Edelbrock Vic Jr. manifold
SLP longtubes, SLP off road x, SLP catback
6061 sheetmetal plenum, 75mm throttle body
Power adder setup:
Vortech V2 SI
8 rib conversion
powerpipe
Vortech mondo bypass
2.95 blower pulley with 10% over drive crank pulley
Paxton FMIC
Ais tri nozzle meth setup (which is what I'll be getting tuned for this winter)
Tranny and drivetrain:
Built 4R70w w/ 3500 stall, custom valve body, 3.73s w/ built rear and aluminum driveshaft
Fuel:
sumped tank, twin 300lph pumps, twin 6 feed lines, edelbrock rails, fuelab fpr, 60# injectors
------------------
Just a real quick rundown. My last dyno I was seeing 17.5 psi, the car pulled to 6400rpms but I wasnt making any power past 6000. Timing is at 15-16. Do you guys think that the auto is just eating up power? Do you think I'm past the efficiency of an SI trim blower? Just looking for feedback from guys that have had blower setups in the 600rwhp range through an auto. Thanks a lot

You hit 11.7 with less than 400rwhp? Impressive to say the least. I've been trying to get into the 11's forever. I need more hp i guess.
