It just seems to me that the only reason the power should fall off is if the blower can no longer feed enough air at that rpm

Do you have a log of the boost during the run?

Does it flatline or drop at that point.

I feel like your tuner should be able to log boost, timing, etc and figure out whats going on here. lol

You should bring that thing to my boy matt in delaware, he will fix you up

thanks the replies guys.

I'm currently running 93 octane, but as I said I have a meth setup with 50/50 mixture that I should be getting tuned here soon.

My plugs are gapped at 26-28 also justin, no spark blowout as I also have timeserts.

Justin, does your tuner tune a lot of meth setups? I'm going to hit you up on facebook for some info

I'm thinking the only way to get to 600whp is add a small shot or swap to a ysi. do you have any track times at your current power level?

unfortunately no track times, I recently just finished getting it tuned and before that had a blown rear. After talking to yet another tuner who doesnt want to tune my car on meth...I have decided to take the meth off. I have an E85 station 20 minutes from me, already have the fuel system to support E85...so I think this winter i'm going to fill up with E85 and go for a tune and see how the car responds

Just hit it with a 50-75 shot of spray and be done, cheapest route by far, why spend a 4-6k on a ysi setup just to gain an extra 75 horsepower.

yes it is your blower which explains why at 6,000 rpms it falls over it shouldn't with your cam combo.

There's a real good Honda tuner/builder near where I'm from and he's got those little Honda engines making 600+ whp on E85. Gotta assume it'd have the same effect on our big V8s... goodluck!

e85 will definitely increase power

Its almost like running race gas all the time so you can advance timing and it has a really good cooling effect in the combustion chamber
