-8 AN tubing?

Why is it that everywhere i go i cant find -8 AN tubing? i'm looking to swap to a return style setup and have everything cept the line and fittings. i was planning on running a -8 from two external walbro pumps (using Y connector) & to a FPR up front then using the old line as a return.

i suppose i could use two smaller lines and run them to the FPR?
was planning on using stainless steel hard line (rubber = no go, and braided = expensive, so i'll only use it for the small flex relief areas), but if it comes down to it and i cant find stainless i'll prolly break down and go aluminum.

i called all the FLAPS and they seemed like it was crazy that i wanted fuel line that big? most only had 1/4 or 3/8, and i think napa also had 5/16. Most also seemed to think that i wanted copper line? very odd.

any help?

AN sizes are based off a 16th

8/16 = 1/2" tubing, thats overkill for such a low hp setup, you'd be perfectly fine with 3/8s tubing or (6/16's) 6an lines
