Default Differents between the 96 4.6 and the 98 4.6 engines

I am about to do a engine swap and this is what I have I have a 96 gt vert and I can get the engine out of a 98 gt coupe. I have read there is differents between the 2 engines like sincers and things like that. Can anyone tell me what I need to know to do this and not run in to any problems. Before I get hit with why go with the 98 go with the PI 99 up. Well the 98 gt engine is free I just have to pull it myself. A friend is getting the car for the body and he knows I need a new engine so he is helping me out there.

Pretty sure everything should be okay as long you use your fuel rails from your 96. The 98 may be returnless, and your is return style rails. Other than that you should be all good.
