I had 4.10s with a long commute alwhile back and found no real difference in gas mileages from stock 3.27s as with stock gearing I found I was in 4 gear more often on the highway to pass cars.

Yup, fuel mileage has more to do with driving habits than gear choice.
If you drive it like you stole it everywhere you go, mpg probably won't change at all. Only the most conservative drivers will see a measurable difference.

BLUF (Bottom line of Front). If you're statying N/A I would reccommend 410's. I had 373's before the S/C and once I rode in my buddys mustang that had similar mods as I had, I most def noticed the difference. Even with the S/C the 410's are manegeable. I still say the best mod (other than FI) is gears for any mustang. We all know New Edges suck with basic bolt on's, so OP if I were you, I would go with the 410's. GL!

04 gt with vortech v2, full exh, 2500 stall non lock up converter (dont ask), 4.10s. I can get 17-18mpg city/hwy mix driving like an old man. Typically I get 12-13. I can't resist wasting the 315s... > with a better tune and a lock up converter I feel the car would pick up 2mpg or so. IMO 4.10s r the way to go. And I typically run 85-90 once outside the city limits...

if your changing the gears then just go big and do the 4.10s......you will barely notice the MPGs.....but you will most certainly notices the SPG.....smiles per gallon
