Default Intresting place to spray methanol

Talking to my local engine builder about getting an intercooler for my vortech or going with meth. He is a fan of methano. lHe said he has started mounting the nozzel directly in front of the blower. He said this is more efficiant because it will cool the supercharger and the air coming out, rather then the supercharger heating the air then trying to cool it with a intercooler.
He was saying he's seen the blowers go from 70 degrees before a pull on the dyno to over 160 degrees at the end of one pull. With the meth he can keep the blower under 120 degrees. He also said it will only use 1/2 as much meth as spraying it into the throttle body.
Has anyone else tried this and how has it worked for you?

Look at how I have mine setup:

I'm spraying a single 3ph pre-blower and two 4gph pre throttle body. Now, every setup is different and on a stock motor you will probably only need a dual nozzle setup, but I have heard great things about spraying pre-blower as well. I run both an intercooler and meth. You just have to make sure you get the correct size as the nozzle pre blower should be spraying basically dense air and not meth, so you want the meth to be atomized by the time it reaches the impellar. More dense air going into the blower will yield higher boost as well.

I havent sprayed it yet, but I am taking it to Dez racing in the spring time to get tuned. I'll be running a 50/50 mix and I also run a progressive controller, an activation switch, and my IAT after my nozzles for a safety purpose.

What kit are you thinking of going with?

I'm not sure yet. Any recomendations. I'm in the middle of putting together a TA and panhard bar rear suspension so it will probably be closer to spring before I do anything.

I love my AIS setup, and read on his kits you will find tons of great reviews. Rodney is the owner and very easy and helpful to deal with as well. Whats nice about meth is that you dont have to worry about plumbing up a front mount, changing pulleys, losing boost, etc. Slap it on there and take all your safety measures and get a good tuner and you will have some nice safe gains.
