Default Fair labor price for the following suspension work?

1. shocks struts and springs http://www.americanmuscle.com/bilsti...98-BaseFitment

2. Panhard Bar http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...110&ModelID=21

3. Lower control arms (havent decided on the brand)

4. Subframe connectors welded on after all the above are installed.

I was wondering how much install labor would cost for this work if I provide all the parts? I dont have a lift or even multiple jack stands, nor the tools to attempt myself. What would you expect to pay for the install of all these? Where would be the best place to get this done?

I have installed all of those components myself, and just guessing, I would think around $450. I would find a local Mustang Performance shop to do this work.

NOTE: you probably want to add Caster/Camber Plates to your list while you are having this work done. Pretty much free to have them put on at the same time as the struts.

U r looking at over 500 bucks for all of that especially if u r welding subframes which u should do otherwise it is a pointless mod.

Probably closer to $600 because of the subframes. I think my shop near me charges $400 just to do struts, shocks and springs. Welding subframes depending on the guy may charge 200-300.

I would go with MM lower control arms with the spherical bushings. Someone could correct me if I'm wrong.

If you could do it yourself it would be best. But any shop would do but a person who could weld would be most important. Not sure where you live but Mustang shops could be hard to find that are near you.

Labor for the LCA's and shocks/struts shouldn't be much.....very quick and simple swaps... 2 hours for all.......

The subframe connectors can be installed in 2-4 hours.... I fabricate my own and install them so it takes about twice as long due to my little 110 welder....

The pan hard bar...I would say about 4-6 hours to get it in and adjusted right....

Shop rates vary but I would install it all for about $400 for labor/materials....

Unless you don't have the time to do the work, just buy the tools. It'll be so much cheaper. You can even use the tools in the future for regular maintenance/future mods which will even save you more labor costs in the future.

The panhard bar won't be a hassle to do while the rest of the rear suspension is done(as long as the tailpipes are factory routing). Drilling the four holes is quite easy with a step drill bit. Welding of the FLSFC I can get done locally at a Mustang shop for $100.

Since all of this is being done at the same time, I think anything over $575 is probably too high.

Get a buddy to help you, and you can easily do the shocks/struts/springs, LCA and Panhard Bar yourself. It is all simple bolt in stuff(just follow the directions). Find a good shop to weld in the FLSFC. You will save yourself a bunch of money!!!

.

Because hes a f*ckin retard and doesn't know when to let the metal cool down or at least be smart enough to pull the carpet back some so it doesn't have the chance....I have installed many a few and never had an issue......

not a bad price on the rest though
