Default Flowmaster exhaust

What stage Flowmaster should I use on my stock Mustang? Im really just looking for that rumble without affecting my gas mileage. I was thinking maybe stage 2. Any ideas?

I sent you a PM. I also rock 40 series Flows. There not the best but da** for the price you can't go wrong. Also if you get the Flows I would reccommend some type of H-pipe be it o/r or catted. Reason is the Flows are a chambered exhuast and with the X-pipe it will sound rapsy. BTW I'm digging the color of your ride my man! GL!

I would use flowmaster super 44 they have a little deeper tone to them than the 40s

I had 40series flows on for 5years then I eventually went to a 10series flow after that.

I ran an slp lm1 on our truck for a bit when we had it TB SS but that thing stayed on for 30days before it just got annoying then the flowmaster went back on that one also. To each is own.

I have Flowmaster Super 44's and I'm satisfied with them. Just need to be louder (for me) so I'm going to get an O/R X.

Do you want to draw a lot of attention to yourself when you drive the car, or just want to make it sound a little more muscular?

2 chamber flows will give you the classic sound, but can be loud with O/R mid-pipes (and downright annoying with O/R X).

3 chamber flows will give you the classic sound, but with slightly less volume of sound. I get compliments on my exhaust a lot (long tube headers, O/R H, and 3 chamber flows).

Try to find local guys with different exhausts and listen to them before you spend money chasing after a "good" sounding exhaust.
GOOD LUCK!!!
