I would just loosen the exhaust manifold just enough to get some clearance. That way you can do all the wiggling you need. If all else fails, take the manifold off.

It's supposed to run inbetween the manifold and the block, yes.

Cut the end off of the dipstick that goes into the block and get a rubber hose and two hose clamps that fit over the dipstick, stick the end in the block and hose clamp the tube togeather.
I had the same problem man, I was realy getting pissed at the thing because it took me half of the time it took me to do the headswap by myself.

They are deep dish black bullets and they rubed a little on the loop that the e-brake cable went through until i bent it down a little and it is fine now. I have 255/40/17 in the front, I just re used the ones that were on my old rims for the front.

well ive tried the hose and clamp deal but i cant even get the damn stick to line up enough for that. I have the exhaust manifold almost off its just hanging by a few threads on each bolt..Im have almost of enough of the bullsh!t i cant take it anymore. its take almost as long as the headswap did to try and get the dipstick tube in and yet it still isnt....im pissed and im tired of the wya they designed this damn arrangement for the dipstick tube..
