How is your boost gauge reading? Have you brought it to a dyno? You could have any number of problems including belt slippage, or a possible leak in the system letting boost escape. You could also be running too lean (detonation robs power). I seriously suggest having it dyno tuned. If you want to feel the power a little more, you could get rid of the IRS and put in a built live axel rear end. I'd seriously suggest a 3 point (torque arm/panhard bar) or 5 link 2 from steeda if you go that route though.

Going from my mildly modded 02 GT to my Cobra, my Cobra feels like a god damn rocket. Now that I can anticipate where all the power is and how it'll respond to matting it, I personally don't get thrown back as hard, but my passengers still white knuckle it and get thrown into the back seat. I launched my buddies water bottle from his left hand all the way into the back seat a couple times LOL
