Default Couple real easy questions. Thanks.

#1 - I have an 03 GT with the Mach 460 stereo. Looking to add some subs and an amp for the trunk. Question: Does my stock 460 head unit have the RCA output jacks for connecting an aftermarket amp?

#2 - Was reading an off topic post a few days ago where someone was talking about another thread, or called it a "sticky", on how to piece together a supercharger kit for around $2k. However, they didn't post the link to the thread they were speaking of. Question: Could someone please post that link?

I searched for the S/C thread but got lost in the maze. Any info on either question will be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

I apologize as my reply isn't really on topic with your head unit, but I wanted to offer a suggestion.

I too, have the same head unit (haven't removed it to look and be able to answer your question) but are you sold on keeping the stock head unit?

Sure, it has a 6 disc changer, but for $200 you can buy a same size replacement Clarion unit from Crutchfield that has Bluetooth, MP3, USB and Mini Din on the front.

I think that is what I am going to do this summer. All my music is in mp3 format already.

Sorry again, just curious to your thoughts.

The OEM head units pretty much SUCK, IMO

Sound is not good and nearly positive there are no RCA jacks out back anyway. My advice is to spend a few hundred bucks and buy a good head unit. Hell, they nearly all fail in one way or another after a few years anyway.

Think I have seen this "build an S/C for $2K", but don't recall where. You're in the correct section for such info, so keep looking.

Meanwhile, head over to Audio/Visual section and look for answers to your stereo question.
