I am def starting fresh but I guess I am getting misunderstood. I am asking whether I should try to part out what little bit of the car that is left or just take the whole thing to the scrap yard. Should I strip anything off to save for my future mustang?
If you stay with New Edge, I would strip off just about anything that's not F'ed up, sell the parts, then get what I could at a junkyard. Use that money as a downpayment to finance a New Edge, starting over takes time and money of course, but it IS fun. I am glad that your wife is OK. Take care.
a well built 94/95 will blow the doors off even a blown new edge, go for the pushrod power my friend...
Really? Well I guess you can say that about almost any car, being blown off I mean, but in my 5 years I've been S/c'ed, I have never been beaten by one of those Mustangs you mentioned, but I am sure they are out there. The thing I am most stoked about is the fact that I've screwed around on the street with 5 or 6 03 04 Cobras, and have beaten them all! I don't like killing fellow Mustang guys either. Needless to say, everyone of those guys were pi**ed off big time.
***Update*** I stated before that I bought a 98 gt with an 01 engine and I sold my wrecked stang for $1700. I love my new one and its faster than my 04
It has a bbk o/r h pipe. Eibach 2 inch lowering springs K&N air filter and an 01 engine swap. Thats all he knew of but I think it has been regeared. The rpms seem higher at highway speeds than my 04.
