Car missing/breaking up at very odd times???

drove the car to work this mourning and on the way stopped to get gas... the tanker truck was filling the gas station and i was in a hurry so i went ahead and put 15$ in my tank.... drove to work and had no problems what so ever.... went to drove home from work and car ran just fine until about half way home from my 15 min drive and it started sputtering.

When i press the gas a little bit it runs just fine, but when i give it throttle more than a quarter throttle it sputters and misses(sounds exactly like when you have traction control kick on(i have TC disabled)).. however when i go WOT through the sputtering the RPMS climb and when it gets closer to redline (anywhere from 4700-5200 to redline) it clears up and theres no sputtering and it runs fine.

theres no check engine light and i ran the codes just to make sure and there's nothing. i have an extra FPDM so i thru that in just to make sure... the injectors are newer, fuel filter is newer.

i don't get what would cause this? what should i check? it just seems like if it were a fuel filter or pump it wouldn't clear up near redline WOT... and its weird that its fine and dosen't miss when i'm light on the throttle.

It sounds to me like bad gas. If the truck was there then the sediment in the tanks was being stirred up by the truck filling them. I usually avoid the place if i see a truck offloading, I have had similar issues before like yours. Thankfully not with my stang!

On the way to work this mourning even at redline its not clearin up...when its sputtering at WOT its still decently fast il not losing all power like a normal miss the car is still decently there power wise....and i can get on it if i ease into the throttle maybe 1/3 of the way up to like 4000 rpm or so with no miss.....

check the coil packs, spark plug wires, and spark plugs. i had to change those to get rid of the sputtering of my GT
