I am looking at a Mustang GT that needs a motor, the motor in it has a bad knock and the mechanic told me it would be cheaper to drop a motor in it. Online I am seeing the 2001-2004 4.6L Mustang motor for sale, is there any reason it wont work in a 2000?? Thanks, Tim
there was a split in production where they made the motors at 2 different plants. Windsor and Romeo. the valve covers and timing covers were a bit different thats about it.
