Fixed the trans fluid! now heater core :(
Well finally got the trans fluid leak fixed and when i went home i turnd the heater on full max and fogged out the car and you can smell the coolant question is how hard is it for someone to fix and what $ estimate am i looking at? thanks this stang lately is causing me big problems

You have a 12-year old car, anything can happen.
Replacing the heater core is a PITA, requiring removal of the instrument panel. There are a number of write-ups out there, here's one that's for the '94-'98 however the new-edge is the same.

If you need to you can get a 5/8-3/4" ****** fitting and hook the two lines together until you can get the heater core replaced.
replacing the heater core is a huge PITA like cliffy stated. Im currently in the process of removing my heater core.
