Hey guys, so I just registered and I figured I'd post a little about myself, my name is Chris, I'm from Arvada, Colorado and I am a tech at a small mustang tuning/ repair shop. I've got a 2001 mustang gt that I am in the process of building right now. I will post up my build thread but is there a special page for the build threads on this forum or should I just post in the 99-04 section? Thanks guys!

I don't know about a build thread, but you being a Mustang Tech, will put you miles ahead of the BS that's spread around this forum; it IS a good forum, though. I don't think I need to tell you that the 2 first mods you should do are gears and shifter ; I am partial to MGW. Welcome aboard, maybe your knowledge will save some little snot nosed B*st**rd from f ing up his ride, lol!

Welcome to the forum. I love your car and the direction you are taking it.

Out of curiosity, why do you dislike the MGW, most everyone including myself loves them....

The shifter seems to be really good quality I just really don't like the feel. I drove a friends car with a pro 5.0 and I will probably end up using one of those when my new trans goes in

Ah yeah same here. Guess it's just the color of you're car that makes it stand out then rather white.
