With a hand held tuner but after you shut it off that way it will come back on within like 200 miles or so. another way is mil eliminators or just put in hi flow cats.

mil eliminators or a handheld tuner will shut them off. I had the same issue with my offroad x and with my my high flow catted pipe as well so I put mils on and that turned it off. I have my tuner now so i took out my mils and sold them and use that but both will work.

ive ran an O/R X and O/R H completely untuned on my car and never once did I get a CEL from them every car is different, but a tuner will shut them off permanently they wont come back on.

^^^^This would be extremely rare(no cel that is).
MILs are cheaper (or Cliffy's $60 fix), but if you will be FI soon you will need the tuner anyway. Get a tuner.
