oil is the blood of your engine...so which is the best to use?
normaly i use 10w30 non-synthetic and my preasure is a quater above normal, everything seems to run fine. I was think of switching to 5w30 and to bring down the preasure and something in a preformace grade synthetic. is the type of oil you use a big deal or not so much?

Synthetic is the best to use. Royal purple and mobil 1 seem to be the best. Ive been using mobil 1 for years, no problems.

Mobil1 synthetic is really good. The weight i recomend you use what your users manual recomends. I belive ford recomends 5w20 for al 4.6's. But make sure this is right for your car. For mine it is.

Yup. I got a 96 and it says to use 5w20.

if you've been using organic and not synthetic the whole time, don't switch now. i use motorcraft 5w20 synthetic.

My local race shop recommended royal purple synthetic 5w-20.
Less friction.
Amsoil synthetic I hear is good too.

ive only had the car for a little less then a year and im not sure what he was using before but i think it will be fine...i will do a oil change with the new oil...then after a 1000 miles do another just to make sure everything good.
5w20 moble 1 synthetic.
