Oil in my Radiator, but NO water in my oil!
What could be the problem here? I've looked for Recalls.
I just bought a 1996 Mustang GT Convertible. It was fine for a day, then we found all the oil had flooded into the radiator. We replaced the oil gasket and it was fine for 3 weeks.
Today I was driving and the oil light came on, which I just filled up yesterday. Checked it out and the oil is completely empty, No water in the oil whatsoever, not even a drop. but my radiator is now flooded with oil and coolant/water mixture that looks like a light brown mud.
Is there a recall on this gasket type or a typical problem?
The only other car I have owned is a 92 saturn for the last 10 years I never had a problem with, aside from no AC.
...So I don't know a lot about Mustangs, maybe you guys can help a girl out!?

I had the same problem........then I dropped a DOHC "cobra" motor in................so I never really figured anything out. I suspected head gasket problems though. It eventually got so bad for me that I couldn't drive 4 miles without over heating and spewing that mud all over the inside of my engine bay.
