Question 04 GT MID-Length Headers??

Are there any mid length headers out there that will fit a 2004 automatic GT?? JBA has some that look sweet, but for manuals. I dont want shorties, and i dont want to worry too much about ground clearance. Are there any long tube headers that have good ground clearance, or better than most ?? Any help would be great.

The JBA Mid-Length headers fit both Manuals and Auto's. I know this as we run them in our Wicked Stangs 4.6lL 4V race car with the factory Auto Transmission. I saw them for under $500 on the site below.

yeah right right, i feel shorties would be a waste of time, but if i could use something like jba mids i wouldnt mind. when you say best bet are macs or kooks, do you mean that you think they are the best in general, or have the best ground clearance?

I have Mac Ceramic Lt's and have had no issues with clearance, Kooks are more expensive then Macs but they have fairly similar power gains, but Kooks sound a lot better IMO

Go with mac. They're the best bang for your buck. Its a pain in the *** to do headers on these cars so if you're gonna do the job, you might as well go longtubes

just get MAC LT's, better power gains AND like half the price of the JBA's...

kinda seems like a no brainer...

Not a No Brainer!

I would only want to do it once and Mac Products are thin mild steel. There is a reason that all quality headers are built from Stainless Steel these days. If you want to buy thin Mild Steel headers than buy Pacesetter or Mac. If you want a quality header than buy a STAINLESS Kooks/ARH/JBA.

Just my o2 as I have replaced Mild Steel headers and when you have to do the install again and buy another product it's not much fun.
