You can go centrifical with a vortech with intercooled for around 2500-3500

Or do what I'm doing. A on3performance turbo kit for 1800. But you have to buy a new k member and fuel pump and injector. So that will put you around 2500 just for the kit.
The only M112 set up for the 98 is the old Roush/SVO set up. $2000-2500 used for the fuel kit if you can find one. I've seen them go as cheap as $1500 (full kit). It's one of the most fun blower set ups for a street car I've found.

Saleen makes an intercooled M90 and a twin screw set up for the 96-98 cars, but I've only seen one for sale in the last year. Guy was asking $2500 for it.

The Tork Tech kit for the PI heads, so won't work on his car, so we can scrap that one.

On3 sounds good until you realize you've doubled the off-the-shelf cost when you add all the extra junk you need to buy to make it work.

At the end of the day, match the power adder to your driving style and budget - not what someone else likes on their car.

I think this makes the most sense. Everybody wants a SC for different reasons. I for one, only want to have it there for those long Vegas trips and so that the everyday car isnt faster than me. Other than that I dont race, so doesnt make sense to spend alot of $$, especially on a car that is not worth more than $8k. On the other hand, if i had $$ to throw around, then I wouldnt mind getting a intercooled Kenne Bell.

Well cruising on the highway you won't be in boost, so there's not really a use for it. Even with my set up I'm still seeing 15-20 Vac (depending on speed and what gear I'm in) just holding constant down the highway on my way to work.
