Not only this forums Bro, all the forums. I just like to know why piggyback pulleys will harm your crank that's all. Exactly how do balance them properly, does installation instruction tell you how to install properly those pulleys?

At this point, who cares? Everyone says to stay away from piggyback. So just go with that, spend a little xtra and not have to worry.

Worry about what? I haven't seen anybody thus far tell me why piggyback pulleys are inferior to steeda one piece.

Ok, what does it feel like if you have someone attached to your back when you have to walk around? In time, your back will hurt. Same thing goes for the crank. Figure it out from there. Adding weight, not good. But do what you want to do and be happy.

Read through the posts on the sticky here: https://mustangforums.com/m_658688/tm.htm, or do a search – I have read more than a couple of posts from Cats who have encountered issues with piggybacks FYI….

Don't get me started on piggys!

Okay, the balance becomes an issue differently than some expect. The balance problems are not 'rotational' balance, but 'longitudinal' balance. Basically, the piggy forces the stock balancer to be about 2 inches further from the end of the crank. It can cause issues with journal or bearing wear or simply throw off the crank position sensor. Oh, and the three bolts which help to bolt the stock balancer to the aluminum pulley like to back out.

They're junk. Junk, junk, junk. Don't waste your money. If you have purchased them, don't install the crank pulley part. You'll get some benefit from the waterpump and alternator pulleys only.
