...would a 2008 chrysler 300 wheel fit on a 2002 Mustang GT? Same bolt pattern, but is there other factors to take into account, offset maybe?? Not that I actually want to put chrysler wheels on my mustang, I'm just looking for a couple of cheap wheels on ebay for spares that I can use at the track, so I want to know what to look for. thanks for any info!!

Let me see if i got this, you want chrysler 300 wheels for a track wheel? Im assuming there 18-20 inch wheels..... If u want cheap track wheels look for stock v6 stang wheels that are 16 inch so u could run a taller sidewall tore for track traction. Big inch wheels blow at the track.

No, no, no, no.........that's not what I'm asking at all. I'm not going to buy any chrysler wheels (although these wheels are 17x8 with a 5/4.5 bolt pattern). I am merely trying to find out what I need to look for in a cheap wheel that happens to be 17x8 with a 5/4.5 bolt pattern, whether that wheel be Chrysler, Pontiac, AMC, Renault, Edsel, Yugo, whatever - I'm looking at used wheels. Do I need to be looking at offset or any other factors???

Nobody panic - there shall be no Chrysler wheels on a Mustang, this is only a drill.

I really prefer to stick with the same rim size, 17x8, due to laziness. If I change the wheels and tires I'm probably not going to just immediately change them back, so I don't want to be driving around with different size wheels, if that makes sense since I don't mind having wheels that look totally different.
