currently i'm in college and i took my o2 Gt with me. As of right now it sits for about a week then gets about 300 to 500 miles on in for weekends trips. So my question is should i be doing any special maintence work on it?

Keep it in a garage if you can. moisture will eat it up if it sits outside.

Change the oil every 3k and always check your fluids. Check tire wear and that simple stuff, nothing really too far out there.

Make sure you put good gas in it also. At least close to a full tank, especially if its sitting outside. The moisture from the air in the gas tank can condense and form water in your tank gas+water=not good.
