Default Rear Wheel Tires

I was wondering, could you throw 10 or even 10 1/2 inch wide tires on the rear without doing any other modification other then of course new wheels to match the tires?

Because some of the wheels differ a bit in the off-set and depending on the condition of the rear control arm bushings, best to confirm clearance before you go driving around.
