Default cold fusion nitrous

i have been researching trying to find out about the cold fusion dry nitrous kits. has anyone got one hooked up? will i need an aluminum intake to handle it or will the factory plastic hold up? the way it sounds is that the nitrous is shot in front of the mass air meter and trick the computer into shooting more fuel, is that right?

Yes, that is basically how a dry nitrous kit works.

Is there a reason that you are looking at a dry kit instead of a wet kit?
If it is simply the cost of a wet kit, I encourage you to save and buy a quality wet kit. Nitrous is a very cost effective way to boost power output, but there are NO shortcuts in nitrous! Cutting corners with nitrous to save a few dollars can end up costing you a fortune.

The only reason you would have an issue with a plastic intake is if you get fuel puddling in the intake and ignite it. That should NOT happen with a proper set-up. Rather than spend money on another intake, I would invest that money in a better nitrous set-up.

GOOD LUCK!
