Default Invisible bra?

Since I just got my car a newly painted 1200$ hood and bumper, with a custom flat black mach 1 stripe...

How ideal are these clear bra's? I have a friend who sells them and I am considering one, I am about to make a 1200 mile trip in my car to my new duty station, and not sure if it is worth the money?

im not a fan of them. i got my front bumper redone to fix the license plate holes and thought about putting one on it but i decided that for the price of them you could paint whole bumper again. not to mention if you keep your car all polished up, up kept on them is a pain and then get nicks and chips in it. i just make sure i dont drive up (like semi lengths from every car) on anybody to get debris/rocks thrown on my car. hope that helps man

My gf's dad just paid 793 for one on his 08 Z06. For a car of that quality its worth it. Go the cheap route and just use painters 3m tape and cover your bumper for the trip then take the tape off when your there.

Black car bra's or feaux leatherbras have been known for ruining paint, due to wind and flapping... Just google invisible car bra. I cant afford 475 right now man about to furnish a whole new apt! LOL
