Default supercharger build

Ok guys im ready for some thing that resembles power from this car.

i wanted to put a vortech on my npi engine on low boost for now (Would like to be around 300hp) then in a year or 2 swap the engine to a low mileage Pi engine and up the boost to get around 350-375hp.

My questions is what is the big difference in the parts i will need for the vortech on my npi engine vs the Pi engine, basically what im i gonna have to replace when i swap engines.

I searched for the $2500 supercharger build that soldier did and couldn't find it anyone with a link?

Not sure about your questions...however why not swap ur engine for a 4v 03 cobra motor? Or build sn95 cobra. Stock numbers are ALMOST as good as the boosted numbers. Just another idea

Heres the link it should tell you everything youre going to need to know. If you have any questions then you can just ask.

^as for swapping and engine, i would think that it would be far more difficult and cost more than slapping a vortech on your car

The only difference between the kits is holes in the blower bracket to mount the bracket for the passenger coil pack i think, which you can work around anyway.

Thanks thats what i was looking for.

I would love to go 4v cobra engine but the cost for a used onewith low miles is way to high.

I did find a 98 lincoln mark 8 with ecu, engine harness, and all acessories for $900 with 100K on it on ebay,But can't decide if thats what I want to do or if thats a good price or not.

I was going to just slap a vortech on my car for now on low boost because of the mileage. My car has 140k doesnt leak or burn a drop of oil and has strong oil pressure but I dont want to push it.

Then In a year or 2 buy a low mileage PI engine and up the boost.

just can't decide on putting a mark 8 4v in now or just but piece togther a vorteh kit

With the mark 8 engine you can still on rev to 6,000rpms right?

Lets say I piece my vortech kit out according to the $1500 thread

What head unit should i be looking for I saw where there is a s,sq, or t-trim

If I stay low boost with my current engine and try to stay around 300rwhp what kind fuel upgrade will I need? and will I need a bigger MAF?

What size pulley will i need?

Do you think that staying around 300rwhp will be safe with my current engine with a good tune and not getting into boost every 5 secs?

That thread doesnt say anything about a BOV, aren't they required?

CX Rcing Intercooler (Complete kit)--210.00-- CX Racing (Ebay)
Seimens 42lb injectors--210.00--CorraL.net
HPX 05 Slot Maf--175.00--Kerns found this one for me..
Vortech mounting bracket--50.00-- Classified section of MF
Vortech mounting bracket hardware kit--95.00--superchargersonline
Oil Feed line--24.00--Vortech
Oil Feed Drain--24.00-- Vortech
SVT Fuel Pump-95.00-Classified section of MF
S/C belt--36.00---Summit Racing
NGK TR6 Plus--26.00---Auto Zone
Vortech Rib metal idler pulley ( 2.60", 6 rib)+Vortech 6 Rib Smooth Plastic Pulley (3"Lip)---85.00---JDsperformance

Total Cost: $2170.00

Didn't quite reach the $1500.00 Supercharger build but I think I did pretty good. Could have even been cheaper if I hadn't bought the Power Pipe, Tial Bov and went with smaller injectors. Any questions guys let me know..
