Default PI Cams & intake running lean

I finally did a pi cam & intake swap on my 96 mustang gt. I pulled the plugs & they show signs of running lean. My car has a fuel pressure regulator. I was thinking of installing an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Would that allow me to make the air/fuel mix more rich? Has anyone tried this?

You need to get a tune to adjust A/F ratio, and if you haven't had a tune on it since you did the swap, that's why it's running lean

Will I also need an adjustable fpr for the tune?

OK. I'll save some money for the tuner. Thanks.
