Default Crazy tire hop... what to do???

OK i have MM solid lower and MM uppers, MM full legth subframes, stock shocks and quads. And i still have extreme tire hop, its ridiculous. When im burning out in the water box its fine, but when i depress the break and roll out of it, it shakes the hell out of everything. What do you think is wrong? Im running my second set of 555r's and the first set of the tires i never had any tire hop. Why would it start now all of a sudden?

You don't need to be in the waterbox for those Nitto's.....

They might still have water on them when you are rolling out of and catching traction momentarily and literally making your rear bounce from the ground.

First thing, take out the Quad shocks. Once you go with better LCA, you are supposed to take them out. If your UCA are adjustable make sure your pinon angle is set right. Also what shocks and springs are you running?

Agree with 00GT.

If you are having issues with it all the time now, time to can the quad shocks.

i thought the quad shocks helped get rid of wheel hop? so when you add the lower control arms you need to remove them? why is this? oh and to help with you wheel hop, here is an expensive way to help, ditch IRS and get solid axle. you will save weight, this guy i know has a 03 cobra and he hates the irs so much wheel hop. that is your problem ---> IRS
